Stable construction from solid oak or beech wood

The piece of furniture stands out for its uncompromising durability and excellent carpentry. The base and frame of the chair are made entirely of selected, solid beech or oak wood to choose from. The smooth, contoured backrest is made of high-quality plywood, which beautifully displays the natural grain and texture of the wood. Designer: Tomek Rygalik


He is a designer, lecturer, curator, and Doctor of Arts.

Born in Łódź in 1976, he studied architecture at the Łódź University of Technology. In 1999, he graduated from the industrial design department at Pratt Institute in New York.

After graduation, he collaborated with many renowned design firms in the United States, serving clients such as Kodak, Polaroid, MTV, PerkinElmer, Dentsply, Unilever, and Dupont. After earning his master's degree at the Royal College of Art in London in 2005, he joined the R&D team at RCA. During the same period, he founded his own design studio, based in both London and Łódź.

Since 2008, he has run a design studio at the Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and since 2009, he permanently moved to Warsaw. Since 2012, he has been a co-director of Studio Rygalik, which he founded with his partner, designer Gosia Rygalik.


His extensive collaborations include projects for recognized brands such as Moroso, Noti, Profim, Ideal Standard, Siemens, Heineken, and Ikea. He served as creative director for leading Polish furniture brands, including Comforty and Paged.

He carries out numerous projects for cultural institutions, including the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the Grand Theatre – National Opera, the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, BOZAR, Zachęta, the Fryderyk Chopin Museum, the National Museum, and Polish Cultural Institutes. In 2011, he served as the architect for the Polish presidency of the Council of the EU. For Paged, he created many collections, including LOF, BENKO, and K2.
