Icho A-4420 Seat Uph Back Wood

The Icho A-4420 chair stands out with its sleek silhouette and light construction. Gently curved legs and a minimalist form make it suitable for both modern and classic interiors.
Made entirely of beech wood – the seat from plywood, upholstered with one of our selected fabrics, and the remaining elements from solid wood. A stable seat and strong backrest ensure comfort, while the ability to stack up to six chairs facilitates storage and everyday use.


The designer is Nikodem Szpunar, one of the most acclaimed Polish designers of the younger generation, who combines artistic sensibility with a practical approach to form in his works. In the Icho collection, he blends simplicity of form with practical application, creating elegant, functional, and exceptionally solid furniture.


The Icho A-4420 chair will work well in home dining rooms and kitchens, as well as in commercial spaces – restaurants, cafes, or hotels. It is also available with a plain seat.

Designer: Nikodem Szpunar

Designer. He graduated from Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. His work includes designing furniture and interior furnishings for both industrial and short-run production. In addition to collaborating with the industry, he also creates paintings using his own tools and designs on the borderline of art. His achievements include numerous awards, including in the Dobry Wzór, International Furniture Design Award (Asahikawa), Make me! and Must Have competitions. He was awarded Designer of the Year 2019 by Arena Design and Designer of the Year 2021 by the Institute of Industrial Design. His designs have been presented at international trade fairs, exhibitions and industry events in Berlin, Milan, London, New York, Hong Kong and Japan. He is the co-creator of the AlterEgo collection, awarded in the Dobry Design 2024 competition in the Best Polish Design category, for which he created ICHO-MIO and the PLASA chair. He also designed the PROP furniture family and the TUK collection for Paged Meble.
