Aria B-5360 Base Wood

Aria B-5360 Base Wood

The Aria B-5360 Base Wood chair is a model with a soft, enveloping form that combines user comfort with a distinctive, modern aesthetic. The upholstered seat and backrest create a coherent, flowing form, providing comfortable support and encouraging daily use. The characteristic cut-out in the backrest line gives the form lightness and is a recognizable detail of the collection. The wooden base emphasizes the natural character of the furniture and ensures stability.

Aria is a collection with many faces – one of the most versatile in Paged's offer. Its distinguishing feature is the unique backrest, available in various options: from plywood, through a version with an upholstered front, to full upholstery. This makes the chair easily adaptable to various spaces – from home dining rooms and living rooms, to restaurant and cafe interiors, where both comfort and a distinctive character are important.

The designer of the project is Dario Polaco, known for his bold approach to form and material. In the Aria collection, his style is manifested in fluid lines, distinctive details, and a desire to create furniture with a strong, individual character.

Designer: Dario Polaco

Born in Argentina in 1981, he graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Buenos Aires. From the earliest years of his career, he had the opportunity to work on the design of various products, such as home appliances, medical equipment, cookware, sportswear, and many others. This versatile experience provided him with extensive knowledge of different materials and production techniques. However, it was only furniture design that allowed him to fully unleash his creativity and develop a distinctive design language. His approach to design appears disobedient, questioning established archetypes and pushing the boundaries of material possibilities to achieve unexpected results. His work has won numerous awards for innovation, including the Good Design 2016 distinction from the Argentine Ministry of Production, Best Design Project 2011 awarded by Innovadores de América, Best Innovative Entrepreneurship 2009 from Empretec, and the 1st prize in industrial design in 2010 and 2008 as part of INNOVAR (Argentina’s National Innovation Award). His projects have also been featured in exhibitions at prestigious art museums in Argentina. He is considered one of the most promising Latin American designers.
