Aria B-5310 Double Wood Back Panel Base Wood

The Aria B-5310 Double Wood Back Panel Base Wood chair stands out with its striking combination of materials and refined form. The upholstered seat and inner part of the backrest create a soft, enveloping shape that provides high comfort. The outer, double wooden panels emphasize the furniture's construction and give it a more architectural character, introducing a distinct, elegant accent. The characteristic undercut in the lower part of the backrest adds lightness and dynamism to the entire form.

The wooden base harmoniously complements the whole, ensuring stability and visual coherence. The combination of natural wood with soft upholstery creates a balanced composition that fits well in both home spaces – dining room or living room – and elegant restaurant or hotel interiors.

Aria is a collection with extensive configuration options, where various backrest variants allow the furniture to be adapted to the character of the interior. The version with a double wooden panel particularly emphasizes the construction and detail, providing a more expressive interpretation of the form.

The author of the design is Dario Polaco, who in the Aria collection combines soft, organic lines with a distinct structural accent. His designs are based on working with detail and proportion, creating furniture with a modern, recognizable character.

Designer: Dario Polaco

Born in Argentina in 1981, he graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Buenos Aires. From the earliest years of his career, he had the opportunity to work on the design of various products, such as home appliances, medical equipment, kitchenware, sportswear, and many others. This multifaceted experience provided him with extensive knowledge in the use of different materials and production techniques. However, it was only through furniture design that he was able to fully unleash his creativity and develop a distinctive design language. His approach to design appears disobedient, questioning established archetypes and pushing the boundaries of material possibilities to achieve unexpected results. His work has won numerous awards for innovation, including the Good Design 2016 distinction from the Argentine Ministry of Production, Best Design Project 2011 awarded by Innovadores de América, Best Innovative Entrepreneurship 2009 from Empretec, and the 1st prize in industrial design in 2010 and 2008 as part of INNOVAR (Argentina's National Innovation Award). His designs have also been featured in exhibitions at prestigious art museums in Argentina. He is considered one of the most promising Latin American designers.
