Aria B-5315 Double Wood Back Panel Base 5

The Aria B-5315 Double Wood Back Panel Base 5 chair combines the comfort of a soft, upholstered form with the functionality of a mobile base. The enveloping seat and smoothly flowing backrest with armrests create an ergonomic shape that ensures comfort during prolonged use. The external wooden back panel emphasizes the furniture's construction and introduces a natural material contrast, giving the whole an elegant, refined character.

The model is equipped with a swivel base on castors, which increases freedom of movement and works well in dynamic work or meeting spaces. Smooth seat height adjustment allows for easy adaptation of the chair to the user and various applications, while the stable, five-star base ensures safety and comfort of use.

Aria is a collection designed with versatility in mind. The variety of backrest variants – from fully upholstered to versions with wooden elements – allows the furniture to be adapted to both home interiors and office or commercial spaces.

The author of the project is Dario Polaco, who in the Aria collection combines soft, organic lines with a distinct form structure. His approach is based on a balance between comfort and expressive design, creating furniture with a modern and recognizable character.

Designer: Dario Polaco

Born in Argentina in 1981, he graduated with a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Buenos Aires. From the earliest years of his career, he had the opportunity to work on the design of various products, such as home appliances, medical equipment, cookware, sportswear, and many others. This versatile experience provided him with extensive knowledge of different materials and production techniques. However, it was only furniture design that allowed him to fully unleash his creativity and develop a distinctive design language. His approach to design appears disobedient, questioning established archetypes and pushing the boundaries of material possibilities to achieve unexpected results. His work has won numerous awards for innovation, including the Good Design 2016 distinction from the Argentine Ministry of Production, Best Design Project 2011 awarded by Innovadores de América, Best Innovative Entrepreneurship 2009 from Empretec, and the 1st prize in industrial design in 2010 and 2008 as part of INNOVAR (Argentina’s National Innovation Award). His projects have also been featured in exhibitions at prestigious art museums in Argentina. He is considered one of the most promising Latin American designers.
