Sund Rd 130 - solid wood table

The Sund Rd 130 table combines the warmth of natural wood with a harmonious, inviting form. A spacious round top made of solid oak rests on a distinctive, cross-shaped base with a soft, curved line that gives the structure visual lightness and harmony.

The table comfortably seats up to six people. This model is not extendable – allowing it to maintain a clean form and exceptional stability. The circular top encourages conversation and collaboration, making the table suitable for both home dining rooms and commercial spaces: cafes, meeting areas, or workplaces. Softly rounded edges increase comfort, while the sculptural base adds character and stability.

The designer is Maja Ganszyniec, known for creating furniture that combines functionality, aesthetic sensibility, and a responsible approach to design. In the Sund collection, her signature design language is expressed in the harmony between the strength of the material and the subtlety of the detail.

Designer: Maja Ganszyniec

Maja Ganszyniec is a designer with a comprehensive approach to the design process. Born in Silesia, she studied interior architecture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, and then completed her design studies at the Royal College of Art in London in 2008. In 2013, she founded Studio Ganszyniec, focusing on human-centred and nature-friendly objects. In her practice, she combines design that is both visionary and responsible – always looking for new possibilities within the bounds of strategic thinking. Over the last decade, she has collaborated with brands such as Abstracta, IKEA, Duka, Comforty, Mute, and Noti. In 2020, she was appointed creative director of Profim – a leading office furniture manufacturer in Poland and one of the brands of the Scandinavian Flokk group. In 2022, the studio was shortlisted for the Dezeen award in the Emerging Design Studio of the Year category. Maja is also the founder and co-owner of the independent furniture brand Nurt.
