Ola Mirecka

Ola Mirecka is a Polish designer living in Denmark, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw (2010) and the Royal College of Art in London (2012). In her studio in Aarhus, she creates unique objects and experiences, where traditional craftsmanship intertwines with modern technologies. Through practical, experimental, and interactive design processes, she has explored how the element of play can be an effective tool for innovation, and how playfulness can help solve various problems. Since 2014, she has been designing products for the LEGO Group, which provides a fascinating field for her creativity. In 2020 and 2021, she served as a judge on the television program LEGO Masters Polska, gaining recognition in the world of bricks. Her works have won numerous awards and have been presented internationally, also appearing in many industry publications. She is a co-creator of the Paged AlterEgo collection, which won a prestigious award in the Best Polish Design category at the Dobry Design 2024 competition. Additionally, she is the designer of the PERLINE armchair, which is an expression of her creativity and design skills.
