I. FURNITURE USE GUIDELINES
For the proper functioning and extended life of the furniture you have purchased, please adhere to the
following rules:

Furniture should be used according to its design and intended purpose, which means, for example, not standing on chair seats and table tops, sitting on armrests, headrests and table tops, or hanging/drying clothes on chair backs.
Furniture should be placed on a level surface (to maintain stability while sitting, the product's legs should remain in contact with the ground; do not lean or rock on the chair).
Furniture should be used indoors and protected from the harmful effects of atmospheric factors. It is advisable for the climatic conditions in the room to be as follows: temperature 10-35ºC, relative air humidity 40-70%. Furniture should not be placed closer than 1 m from active heat sources (radiators, stoves, fireplaces), nor should furniture be placed on wet surfaces: floors/carpets. Failure to observe temperature and humidity recommendations
may cause furniture deformation, changes in the shape of curved elements, cracking of wooden parts, damage to upholstery or wicker, discoloration, and degradation of painted furniture surfaces.
Furniture should be protected from direct sunlight. UV radiation can cause color differences in furniture elements, and lacquer coatings can degrade. The degree of damage depends on the intensity of the radiation; the difference in color between parts exposed to radiation and covered parts may be noticeable during use, e.g., in TV stands, extendable tables with hidden inserts.
The usable surfaces of solid wood furniture or furniture veneered with natural veneer should be protected from direct heat, moisture, and chemical agents, e.g., hot dishes, irons, liquids, alcohol, solvents, as these can cause damage such as discoloration and dulling. However, the surfaces of furniture veneered with artificial veneer, such as HPL laminates, show resistance to heat, moisture, and certain chemicals. Nevertheless, at the junction of different materials, e.g., veneered narrow surfaces, they should be protected from the action of liquids, alcohol, and substances that can damage surfaces and joints, e.g., gaps, detachments, and blisters may form.
The surface is negatively affected by liquids that can seep in and lead to stains or leave circular marks, e.g., from glasses. Spilled liquids should be wiped dry immediately. Do not allow liquids to get into hard-to-reach places, e.g., under glass, or into joints.
Glass surfaces/elements in furniture should be used with particular care. They must not be overloaded, and glass elements should be dismantled when moving. For glass tops, ensure that the glass is tempered and what factors it is resistant to.
To protect the usable surfaces of furniture, coasters can be used, but care should be taken to ensure that the material from which the coasters are made does not leave stains.
Sharp/rough (e.g., hard seams, rivets on clothing) or heavy objects, as well as pet claws, can damage wood, fabric, and wicker.
Coloring materials, such as jeans, can stain light upholstery fabrics as well as natural and artificial leather.
Some products contain wooden elements with square/rectangular cross-sections and metal elements (e.g., guides, screws, fasteners) in their construction, so special care should be taken when children are in contact with the furniture.
If lighting is used in furniture, light bulbs should not be touched directly by hand.
Furniture requires leveling and, if necessary, adjustment of components, e.g., hinged doors, drawers, table bases. For floors susceptible to scratching, it is advisable to use protective pads under the furniture.
Furniture requiring assembly should be assembled according to the assembly instructions, using appropriate tools. During assembly, special care should be taken not to damage the components.
Furniture connections should be checked periodically. Any looseness in the connections that occurs during use should be eliminated by tightening the appropriate screws and fasteners.
